Land use and zoning specialist facilitating new and adaptive development…
Jennifer Hiromoto is a land use and zoning specialist who works with clients to understand and navigate zoning entitlements and city approval processes. She has over 20 years of urban planning experience, problem solving and organizing complex processes. The consistent thread in her career has been a dedication to the growth of cities by facilitating new and adaptive development.
Jennifer was responsible for developing zoning entitlements for local Dallas projects including Victory, Bishop Arts Village, and Pegasus Park. These urban infill developments had carefully prescribed zoning for placemaking but with built-in long-term flexibility: entertainment-centered, high-density mixed-use neighborhood; medium density mixed use development within a historic, established neighborhood; and a revitalization of an office campus for biotech and education that also planned for future retail and residential uses. During her time on staff with the City of Dallas, she managed zoning for Lake Highlands Town Center and contributed to the code amendments for breweries & wineries, parking, and Form Districts. Her influence on development projects has played a role in the growth of Dallas.
